Clearly D-Link must be suffering from a mental confusion ailment of the gadget sort.  The D-Link Xtreme N Storage Router is merely 1/4 part router.  And in addition, it has 3 separate sections and they contribute much value to this gadget!  And what are the 3 parts of the D-Link Xtreme router?  Well, read on….

Interested in getting a Network Attached Storage (NAS)?  Turns out the D-Link router possesses one!

How about a digital picture frame to go with that NAS/router?  Please consider the D-Link Xtreme, it sports a router/NAS, and a digital frame all in one unit.

If I didn’t know better, I would have to say that this gizmo has a personality confusion of some kind.  Yet, it is in fact an awesome gadget that is ahead of times and very practical!  Routers are not known to be any more than just a box that sits in a far corner of a office.  What D-Link has accomplished is to add some needed spice into the mix to get the most out of the router eye sore.

The D-Link Xtreme router comes with a 3.2-inch digital frame that can show pictures, new updates from the net, such as sports scores, the weather, pictures, etc., and is able to save any files and photos from various laptops and PCs that are on the home network.

You are able to use PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 in conjuction with the D-Link Xtreme router to play DVDs to your TV!

Have a printer that you want to share with family on the network?  Simply plug the printer in to the D-Link router using the supplied USB cable and everyone will be able to print to it.

Do you want to share torrent files?  You guessed it!  The D-Link router includes the newest BitTorrent application built-in, so you can download torrent files even when your computer is off or offline.

And so in conclusion, D-Link has an amazing router in the D-Link Xtreme.  At a retail price of 299.99 U.S. dollars, it is a steal!
